Our Story

Jasmina and Zvonimir

Jasmina and Zvonimir first met at a dance class, where Zvonimir was the instructor and Jasmina attended as a student. Their shared love for food and photography soon sparked a connection, leading them to explore their creative talents together.

With Jasmina's expertise in cooking and recipe writing, and Zvonimir's passion for food photography, they decided to launch Food by J & Z to bring their unique collaboration to life. Their vision was simple: to inspire families and home cooks to enjoy food, whether by preparing it, photographing it, or simply sharing a meal together.

Their blog, cookbook, and community have grown into a joyful space for food lovers, filled with Jasmina's inventive recipes and Zvonimir's stunning visuals. One of their proudest creations is the storybook cookbook Beyond the Cake, which combines recipes with fun, family-oriented stories to make baking with kids an exciting experience.

Today, they continue to experiment with new flavors, techniques, and trends while focusing on bringing families and friends closer through the art of cooking. Every recipe, every photo is a testament to their love for food and the joy it brings.
